Featured Artist: EvOn – The Music Bully

This week we would like to introduce you to Evon, “The Music Bully” who was born and raised in South London, Brixton (UK). EvOn is a Hip-Hop Artist and Song Writer who started her music career in 1994. She studied music technology at the B.R.I.T.S. Performing Arts college and then went on to be signed by WEA and MCA. Below is a track that she recorded in 1995 when she was only 14 years old, “Hell Hath No Fury.”

EvOn has a done her fair share of features starting with United Flava of British Rap (1995) (*EvOn was also known as Evey-D), “Where Is It” by Ninja Tune’s Artist, D.S.P on the “In The Red” Album, “What Shall I Rap About” featured on Hundred Strong’s “Basement Blues” album, and on the Travis Blacq “Who R U” Single. EvOn has been active in the LGBT community by discussing her sexuality in her music and through promoting the LGBT Underground Scene in “The Music Bully LGBT Interview’s” on her site. These interviews promote LGBT Rappers, singers, Models, DJ,s and more.

Recently, EvOn has been working with producer Jason Moe who has found the right sound for her 1st album called “Coming out.” In the album, EvOn hopes to introduce the world to who she is as a Hip-hop artist.
