Throwback Thursday: Lauryn Hill – Doo Wop

With all of the rumors going around that Lauryn Hill is working on an album/ preparing to go on tour I decided to post a throwback Lauryn video. I don’t know whether any of the rumors have any backing and honestly don’t know if I want them to; at least not if Lauryn a) doesn’t want to be in the public eye again b) hasn’t fully recovered c) wont be physically able to record the way she used to. I say this as a huge Lauryn fan who truly wants what’s best for her. Her performance at the Ragamuffin festival did show signs that her voice is still wonderful and she is doing much better though. I’m sure Lauryn fans around the world are crossing their fingers. With the current state of hip hop, the return of a healthy Lauryn would be wonderful.
