Women around the world have incredible stories to tell and are telling them through hip hop. Unfortunately, mainstream media outlets tend to neglect these stories. Some people argue that female emcees no longer exist. It is our goal to educate these people about the countless female artists in hip hop around the world. Through serving as a centralized source for information on female emcees, we help to increase exposure for female artists and support a movement (led by many women around the world) and bring true female emcees back to the forefront.
